Astar stated that with the launch of Astar zkEVM, Astar Network will expand its cross-chain capabilities and create a technology stack, with the goal of becoming a portal connecting the Ethereum and Polkadot ecosystems. Astar is committed to enabling interoperability between existing Astar VMs and working with partners such as LayerZero and Gelato to enhance cross-contract interoperability of other DApps. In the next few days, Astar will begin to announce partners who plan to launch Astar zkEVM. The Astar zkEVM testnet is planned to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. The public release will wait for the results of the testnet phase. sETH will be used as the Gas token on the testnet. Astar community members will have the opportunity to participate and receive rewards.
