Stakeholder Liquidity Release Protocol Ion Protocol Completes $2M Pre-Seed Round

Ion Protocol, a liquidity release protocol for pledgers, announced the completion of a $2 million Pre-Seed round of financing, jointly led by Portal Ventures and SevenX Ventures, with participation from Foresight X, Bankless Ventures, Maelstrom Fund, Alexander, Anthony Sassano, founder of The Daily Gwei (sassal.eth) and Syncracy Capital co-founder Ryan Watkins et al. Additionally, Ion Protocol was selected as one of Foresight X's first Accelerator Program projects in March of this year. Ion Protocol is creating a lending platform that supports staking and re-staking assets, enabling users to deposit any validator-backed asset (including LST, re-staking positions, etc.) into a collateral vault and mint allETH from their deposits.
