RippleX, the Ripple development lab, announced the 5th batch of XRPL grant winners. The grant program received 150 applications and finally selected 15 projects from 14 countries. A total amount of more than 1.6 million will be distributed to 15 projects USD funding. Batch 5 XRPL winning projects include proof-of-payment protocol Alice's Ring, XRP Ledger-compatible web3 CMS 3Shop XRP, cryptographic workflow aggregator Alphaday, Shopify app Amora, community-focused XRPL browser Bithomp, digital certificate manager conFIEL, Dhali, a tokenized API marketplace, Evernode, a smart contract for the XRPL ecosystem, GateHub Data API, a modern version of the deprecated Ripple Data API, Keystone, a financial management platform for digital assets, Poof XRPL Payments, a self-custody financial infrastructure based on XRP, XRPL Elixir, an Elixir-based RPC library (XRPC), XRPL Meta, a metadata API for XRPL assets, XRPScan, a deep search platform, and XRPSpec, a behavior-driven workflow testing framework for XRPL. Additionally, Batch 6 applications are currently under review and winners will be announced this fall, with Batch 7 applications expected to open in August 2023.
