Odaily Planet Daily News The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) stated in a document submitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on October 10 in support of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that digital assets do not need to be given any special treatment when it comes to applicable securities. NASAA general counsel Vincente Martinez said: "The SEC's theory in this case is consistent with the agency's long-standing public position... and it is also fully within the scope of established law."
