According to official news, the modular blockchain Astria launched the shared sequencer Astria Dusknet. Users can deploy Rollup to a remote shared sequencer network without permission.
Developers simply run their Rollup node and configure the node to use a remote shared sequencer network. The network can order blocks for multiple rollups, reducing the overhead of each individual rollup and containing atomic transactions.
According to previous news in April, Astria completed a US$5.5 million seed round of financing, led by Maven 11, and participated by 1kx, Delphi Ventures and Figment Capital. The funds from this round of financing were used to develop its shared sorter network. Astria is also developing its Astria EVM, which is powered by a shared sequencer network and is planned to serve as the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) for the data availability layer of the modular blockchain Celestia.
