Paradigm co-founder Fred Ehrsam will step down as managing partner and remain at the firm as a general partner but will reduce his involvement in day-to-day operations, according to an email sent to employees on Tuesday.
Ehrsam told employees that it plans to devote more time to researching and investing in future health technologies, noting that other leaders in the cryptocurrency space are interested in aging treatments and cryogenic technology. (The Information)
According to previous news, Paradigm partner Matt Huang said in an interview that Paradigm will not give up investing in the encryption field and will raise a US$1 billion fund by the end of the year or early next year.
