Robinhood Markets Inc. is launching commission-free cryptocurrency trading in the European Union, a week after debuting stockbroking services in the United Kingdom.
Robinhood Crypto general manager Johann Kerbrat said in an interview that the app, scheduled to go live on Thursday, will allow European investors to buy and sell more than 25 cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH and SOL, and will also offer a Bitcoin cashback loyalty program. .
European customers of Robinhood Crypto will currently not be able to transfer their crypto assets out of the app. Kerbrat said the company plans to add this feature next year, as well as more tokens and staking services.
