The "2022 China Metaverse Policy Analysis Report", co-edited by the Blockchain Research Institute of the Chain Industry and the Blockchain Application Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, was officially released. According to the report, according to incomplete statistics, as of the end of September 2022, among the policies and annual work reports issued by government departments ranging from provinces to cities and districts, there are 32 items related to the Metaverse, including strengthening the application of industrial integration, strengthening Development aspects such as the construction of the metaverse ecological system, strengthening the research and development of core technologies, optimizing the industrial layout, and providing financial guarantee and support. From the perspective of the issuing unit level, it includes 15 prefectural-level policies, 10 provincial-level policies, and 7 district-level and county-level policies; in terms of geographical distribution, first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai and new first-tier cities such as Chongqing and Hangzhou account for 35%, non-first-tier cities accounted for 30%; in terms of regional distribution, blockchain-related policies issued in East China accounted for the largest proportion, reaching about 53%.
