Lawyers for Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon have argued that Do Kwon should legally be extradited to South Korea, not the United States. With both South Korea and the United States demanding the extradition of Do Kwon, who was arrested in Montenegro, the lawyer's remarks mean that if a thorough legal judgment is made, Do Kwon should be sent to South Korea, but the prospect is not clear. Montenegro's Minister of Justice said in an interview with local television in November last year regarding the extradition of Do Kwon: "The United States is our most important foreign policy partner," implying that a political decision will be made.
