Polyhedra Network launches zkBridge-based Bitcoin interoperability ecosystem

According to official news, Polyhedra Network launched the Bitcoin cross-chain message transmission protocol based on zkBridge. This is a trustless and efficient cross-chain solution based on zero-knowledge proof technology. It aims to expand the functions of Bitcoin and enable it to communicate with multiple A variety of blockchain networks, including various first- and second-layer blockchain networks to achieve interoperability. zkBridge is working with developers to apply it to various infrastructures of the Bitcoin ecosystem, Bitcoin second-layer network, wallets, DeFi protocols and tools. Through zkBridge, the Bitcoin network can now securely transmit its current and historical data to more than 20 blockchain networks, including Bitcoin Layer 2, Ethereum, and Ethereum Layer 2. The protocol is also compatible with emerging assets in the Bitcoin network, such as Ordinals, BRC-20, and Atomics, and enables trustless access to smart contracts on other blockchain networks, such as Ethereum and Bitcoin Layer 2.
