Cybercrime solutions provider Hudson Rock disclosed on Sunday that a hacker who goes by the pseudonym "Tamagami" claimed to have breached KodexGlobal, a secure network for communications between regulators and law enforcement agencies and a well-known network for Google, Meta and TikTok. Law enforcement request system for technology companies and crypto projects such as Binance, Coinbase, Chainlink, Discord, Fintech, etc. The hacker sold access to KodexGlobal accounts on breakachforums, allowing buyers to retrieve user information of these companies. The hacker was entrusted by buyers to charge between US$300 and US$500 for each emergency data request (EDR) on KodexGlobal, and promised that as long as they paid US$500, interested buyers could “retrieve any TikTok account, and get the data they want within 8 hours."
