Yam community members propose distribution of project treasury assets to token holders

Members of the DeFi project Yam Finance community posted a proposal on the forum proposing to distribute project treasury assets to token holders. The redemption price per Yam token will be between $0.207 and $0.25, say, if you own 3% of the token supply, you can burn those Yam tokens and get 3% of the vault assets, after 12 months , the remaining unredeemed vault assets will be donated to charity. The proposal also states that current contributors have failed to make any meaningful progress in building a value-creating product while burning through $30,000+ per month.
