Anchorage Digital Launches Self-Custody Wallet Porto for Institutions

According to Foresight News, Anchorage Digital has announced the launch of Porto, a self-custody wallet for institutions. The wallet is provided directly by Anchorage's digital division, allowing institutions to hold and manage their own assets instead of custodial assets on behalf of clients. Porto uses the same underlying technology as its banking counterpart, such as biometric authentication and asset recovery. The wallet supports over 200 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Aptos, and Sui. Anchorage Digital received approval for a national trust charter from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in early 2021.
