According to an official announcement, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) warned the public to beware of suspicious websites pretending to be licensed virtual asset trading platforms. These include HSKEX, which pretends to be Hash Blockchain Limited, operating through four websites including https://www.hskexpro.com, and www.oslexu.com and www.oslint.com, which pretends to be OSL Digital Securities Limited.
The China Securities Regulatory Commission has added these websites to its suspicious platform warning list after receiving reports of withdrawal difficulties, noting that victims were asked to pay high fees and taxes. Hong Kong police have blocked these websites at the request of the Securities and Futures Commission.
The SFC reminds the public to verify the legitimacy of the platform before conducting transactions and recommends that the information of licensed entities be checked through the SFC's public register.
