Encrypted asset management company Valkyrie Funds announced that it will liquidate and dissolve its Valkyrie Balance Sheet Opportunity Fund (NASDAQ: VBB) on October 31. Valkyrie said that after the liquidation, the VBB fund will be delisted from the Nasdaq exchange , any user still holding fund shares at the time of liquidation will receive a cash distribution equal to the net asset value (NAV) of their positions. The VBB Fund, a Bitcoin bull-focused investment vehicle, has been trading on Nasdaq since December 2021. The largest positions in VBB are Tesla and MicroStrategy, which are known for holding bitcoin on their balance sheets, and currently have only about $570,000 in net assets under management.
