Bitlayer launches first phase of Ready Player series ecological incentive plan worth US$50 million

Bitcoin L2 project Bitlayer announced the launch of a series of ecological incentive programs, Ready Player, and officially launched the first phase of the event, Ready Player One. The program is mainly for ecological projects deployed to the Bitlayer mainnet. Teams that sign up and participate in the Bitlayer ecological construction will receive token rewards based on their ecological contribution. The total value of the first phase of the event rewards exceeds 50 million US dollars. The Bitlayer team promises to provide all-round support for early builders, and open up core ecological resources such as token rewards, liquidity support, first-line institutional investment and community building to event participants and project parties. The registration for Ready Player One will be officially opened on March 29, 2024, and will last until April 29. The first phase of the event is scheduled to be officially launched after the Bitlayer mainnet is launched, and the specific participation rules and details will be announced to the public at that time. It is reported that Bitlayer is a Bitcoin security equivalent Layer 2 based on the BitVM paradigm, committed to becoming the computing layer of Bitcoin, providing Bitcoin security equivalent and Turing complete. On March 27, Bitlayer announced the successful completion of a $5 million seed round of financing led by Framework Ventures and ABCDE Capital.
