Range Protocol, an on-chain asset management protocol, has announced the launch of Skate, an intent-centric universal application layer. Skate is designed to solve the problem of application fragmentation in multi-chain environments and can serve as a single center for on-chain code deployment.
In addition to the underlying interoperability network, Skate will connect to other blockchains through the Fast Finality Network protected by EigenLayer Active Verification Service (AVS) to enable instant intent-driven cross-chain settlement.
Skate will launch mainnet in 2024, with incentivized testnet events available to community members in the coming months. (Chainwire)
