According to Foresight News, Andrew, a research scientist from IoTeX, a modular Web3 infrastructure platform, was invited to the HK Web3 Festival. He shared insights on the technological path for large-scale applications of DePIN during a roundtable discussion. Other participants in the discussion included representatives from Hotspotty, Streamr Network, Kwil, and GMNetwork.
Andrew stated that over the past few years, IoTeX has developed infrastructure modules capable of supporting large-scale physical device access to the blockchain, such as W3bstream. In recent upgrades, the main network performance has been boosted to a maximum of 1000TPS, providing an environment suitable for large-scale DePIN applications from off-chain to on-chain. However, connecting to the blockchain is just the first step in DePIN's development. The privacy data stack established by the IoTeX network through ZK technology can provide strong data layer support for the development of AI smart devices.
In previous news from Foresight, IoTeX announced that several investment institutions, including SNZ Capital and Foresight Ventures, have invested $50 million in the IoTeX ecosystem.
