Chainalysis Launches Polkadot Governance Proposal Involving $10 Million Partnership

Chainalysis recently submitted a Polkadot governance proposal, proposing a $10 million partnership between the two parties. According to the proposal, the services to be provided by Chainalysis will include monitoring and tracking DOT token activities on the relay chain, ensuring visibility of regulators and institutional entities to any potential risky on-chain behavior, with the goal of maintaining a good record with regulators and cultivating a risk-aware environment. In addition, Chainalysis will provide on-chain intelligence solutions to meet institutional needs related to the launch of DOT tokens, covering aspects such as investigations, compliance, and growth use cases. The partnership will also include plans to participate in joint events, announcements, and case studies to promote cooperation and highlight Chainalysis' role in supporting Polkadot's compliance framework. In addition, on-chain intelligence will be provided to authorized institutional clients to support the launch of DOT tokens. The two parties will also cooperate in multiple areas to promote compliance partnerships. However, so far, this proposal has not received much support from Polkadot community members.
