According to PANews, during a keynote speech by Apple, the company's Vice President of Platform Architecture, Tim Millet, briefly mentioned Octane, a creative workflow software supported by the Render network. This mention was made while showcasing the M4 chip on the latest iPad. Following this, the Render Token (RNDR) experienced an 11% increase.
In his four-minute keynote, Millet's brief three-second mention of the software caught the attention of traders and was considered by several commentators as a factor contributing to the rise in RNDR's price over the past week. Millet stated, 'Professional rendering applications like Octane will shine,' and mentioned the software's performance on the new iPad. An anonymous cryptocurrency trader, D0c Crypto, shared in a post on May 7, 'You can actually see the RNDR token's LOGO in the video.'
Following Apple's announcement on May 8, the price of the RNDR token soared by 11%, resulting in an overall increase of 40% in the past seven days. As per the data from CoinMarketCap, at the time of publication, the trading price of Render was $11.16.
