Binance's compliance chief Tigran Gambaryan remains incarcerated in Nigeria, and his family says he may have contracted malaria. On May 24, Gambaryan collapsed in a Nigerian court. A family spokesperson for Gambaryan said, "Despite a court order issued by the judge on May 23, Tigran Gabaryan has not yet been transferred from Kuje Prison to a hospital. Given the inadequate medical facilities in Kuje, his condition has not yet been formally determined. He is suspected of suffering from a severe throat infection and malaria." Hearings for Gambaryan's tax violations and money laundering charges will be held on June 14 and June 20, respectively. (CoinDesk)
