According to official news, a survey of 21,000 Worldcoin customers in Spain showed that 81% of respondents said they felt safe using Worldcoin (15% were unsure). The survey results also showed that Spanish respondents strongly supported the return of Worldcoin business in the country (87% support, 9% unsure).
The 24-hour survey conducted by Worldcoin contributor Tools for Humanity (TFH) through the World App in late May asked verified World ID holders a series of questions related to Worldcoin, biometrics, proof of humanness and data privacy protection.
Yesterday, in response to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) announcing that Worldcoin has legally agreed not to resume its business in Spain before the end of this year, Worldcoin responded in a blog post that Tools for Humanity announced that it had filed a lawsuit against the AEPD's order. At present, all World ID verification services in Spain have been suspended, but the first wallet of the Worldcoin project, World App, is still available.
