Dash officially announced on the X platform that its Evolution chain has been officially launched and started to produce blocks. The Evolution chain has now begun to execute data contracts and send files to decentralized storage. It is understood that Evolution is a decentralized application platform that allows developers to build applications based on fast, easy and reliable decentralized data access. The platform consists of four main elements: Platform chain, data contracts, data storage and decentralized API (DAPI). Evolution's initial applications include Dash Platform Name Service (DPNS) and DashPay payment application contracts, which aim to provide users with a more intuitive payment experience while ensuring data ownership and privacy. Dash said that the Genesis version already includes all of the above features as well as non-fungible token (NFT) support, and will further improve network stability, launch DPNS and DashPay, and develop alternative token support and increase throughput in the future.
