The Wyoming Stable Coin Commission has released an open qualification application to attract talent to participate in its stablecoin program "Project WYST". Applicants must submit job proposals by December 12, including token development, support, listing, on-chain analysis, reserve management, financial auditing, and ecosystem intelligence.
Details of WYST are still limited, but discussions in the commission indicate that it may be launched on the Ethereum or Solana network.
The Wyoming Stable Coin Act, passed in 2023, authorizes the state to issue stablecoins. According to the Wyoming Stablecoin Commission website, each WYST represents and is redeemable for one US dollar in custody in the state, and the token will only be used to redeem US dollars.
