Speaking about the expected wave of regulatory reforms after Trump took office, Tom Lee, former chief equity strategist at JPMorgan Chase and chief investment officer of Fundstrat Capital, said he agreed that change is indeed coming, and emphasized that Bitcoin is the most obvious indicator of future change.
He said: "Perhaps the best way to measure this is the performance of Bitcoin, because Bitcoin has faced a huge regulatory burden in the past few years, and now the White House is embracing digital assets. The new US SEC chairman, FTC chairman and new Secretary of Commerce, I think these are actually seen as pro-business. But I think a good alternative is to focus on Bitcoin.
Lee also mentioned "reasonable target for BTC in 2025": "We think it will follow a similar halving cycle that we have seen in the past, which means a BTC price of about $250,000 in 2025." (Bitcoin.com)
