Rapper Drake X's account was suspected to be hacked and promoted Solana Meme Coin, with trading volume reaching $5 million at one point

Canadian rapper Drake's X account (with more than 39 million followers) was suspected to have been hacked on Saturday night and promoted a Solana meme coin based on his cartoon "alter ego character." The coin traded $5 million at one point, but was later confirmed to be a scam and the related posts have been deleted. The fake posts also claimed that the meme coin was launched in partnership with Drake's preferred cryptocurrency betting platform Stake. The fraudulent token "$ANITA" has the same name as Drake's Anita Max Wynn Tour, which will return Drake to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2017. (The Block)
