User @0xDiyaaa shared a security incident related to the Telegram Safeguard scam, reminding people again to raise their security awareness at the end of the year. The user clicked on a TG link disguised as a human-machine verification in the comment section of the social platform, and then executed a malicious command, which put his assets at risk. Fortunately, he had handwritten mnemonics in advance, so he was able to transfer his assets in time and wipe his computer, avoiding greater losses. In addition, SlowMist founder Yu Xian also pointed out that the scam has been extended to Mac users. When users see a specific guide in Telegram, the clipboard may have been implanted with malicious code. If they continue to follow the instructions, they will face serious security consequences.
