CCData: CEX spot and derivatives trading volumes hit record highs in December last year

Odaily Planet Daily News According to a recent market report released by CCData, in December last year, the combined spot and derivatives trading volume of CEX increased by 7.58% to $11.3 trillion, a record high. Among the major CEXs, Binance had the highest spot trading volume, reaching $946 billion, an increase of 0.13%. It was followed by Bybit with a trading volume of $247 billion, an increase of 18.8%, and Coinbase with a trading volume of $191 billion, an increase of 9.62%. In December, crypto derivatives trading volume increased by 7.33% to $7.58 trillion, also setting a record high for the derivatives market: "This is the third consecutive increase in monthly derivatives trading volume as traders look to capture two-way fluctuations amid a surge in liquidations this month."
