Gary Gensler X account no longer displays the gray icon representing government officials

Yesterday, the SEC said in a statement that today is Gary Gensler's last day at the SEC. Chairman Gary Gensler has been engaged in public service for a long time and joined the SEC in 2021. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Markets, and Senior Advisor to U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes. He brought his extensive experience and knowledge of financial markets to the position of Chairman, and we worked together to advance the Commission's mission, protect investors, maintain fair, orderly and efficient markets, and promote capital formation. Although as Commissioners, we approach policy issues from different perspectives, we also maintain our dignity in our differences.
