Odaily Planet Daily News JAN3 CEO and Bitcoin advocate Samson Mow recently reignited the discussion about the potential digital asset reserves of the US government. Mow insisted that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that should be considered for inclusion in such reserves. He also criticized Ripple and XRP, saying that they do not deserve such recognition. He wrote on X: "Adding any crypto assets other than Bitcoin to the digital asset reserves is actually giving taxpayers' money to companies and individuals who print tokens out of thin air." Mow reiterated that XRP and other altcoins are not suitable as reserve assets. He has always believed that the companies behind these tokens have been creating a large supply of tokens with minimal effort, thereby undermining the overall credibility of the cryptocurrency market.
