According to Odaily, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino recently expressed concerns on X, stating that companies attacking Tether are the same ones targeting Bitcoin. Ardoino emphasized that Tether supports and invests in Bitcoin and its technology, underscoring the importance of unity. Previously, Riot Platforms' Vice President of Research, Pierre Rochard, claimed that Ripple (XRP) is a significant obstacle to Bitcoin's strategic reserves. Rochard accused Ripple of lobbying against Bitcoin reserves by spending millions to influence politicians, aiming to hinder the initiative. He further alleged that during the Biden administration, Ripple also targeted the Bitcoin mining industry to protect its market narrative and promote a CBDC based on its network.
