According to BlockBeats, on February 12, zkLend announced on social media that it had been targeted by a hacker attack. The hacker is offered the opportunity to retain 10% of the stolen funds as a white hat bounty, while the remaining 90% (3,300 ETH) should be returned to zkLend's Ethereum address. Upon receipt of the transfer, zkLend agrees to absolve the hacker of any and all liabilities related to the attack.
Previously, zkLend reported experiencing a security incident. In response, the team has urgently suspended the protocol's withdrawal function and advised users to halt deposit and repayment activities to prevent further losses. The zkLend team is actively investigating the root cause of the attack and plans to provide further updates once more details are confirmed.
