According to PANews, a report by S&P Global Ratings released on Wednesday highlights the absence of stablecoin regulation as a significant barrier to its adoption in the United States. Analysts, led by Mohamed Damak, emphasized that the lack of regulatory framework is a primary obstacle preventing the widespread institutional adoption of stablecoins. The report suggests that stablecoins are expected to play an increasingly important role in on-chain transactions. It is anticipated that once regulatory measures are established, the adoption rate of stablecoins will rise.
