According to Odaily, the hacker group 'Dark Storm,' supported by Russia, has claimed responsibility for a recent distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that caused a significant outage on the X platform. Cybersecurity organization SpyoSecure reported on March 10 via the X platform that Dark Storm announced the attack on their Telegram channel, which was subsequently removed for violating platform terms. Social media figure Ed Krassenstein stated that he contacted Dark Storm's leader, who confirmed the attack was intended to demonstrate their capabilities without any political motives.
Elon Musk, the owner of the X platform, confirmed that the platform experienced a cyberattack on March 10, which temporarily restricted user access. However, user functionality was quickly restored. In an interview with Fox Business, Musk mentioned that the attack originated from IP addresses in the Ukraine region.
Additionally, Tesla's recent stock price decline may be linked to protests over spending cuts led by Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
