The EOS Network Foundation released a feature introduction of Mandel v3.1, which introduces new tools to solve existing problems and improve user experience. Upgrades introduced include: new transaction lifecycle tools, transaction failure tracking and new transaction endpoints, transaction retries, transaction final states, transaction resource cost estimates, subjective billing improvements, cryptography-related improvements, new protocol options, pruning Functionality and logging improvements. Additionally, Mandel v3.1 updates the core system contract and introduces a new startup contract to simplify testing. The team stated that the expected activation date of the protocol upgrade is September 21, 2022, and node operators need to coordinate to complete the upgrade before that date. Foresight News previously reported that the EOS Network Foundation released the EOS Mandel v3.1-rc1 pre-release version in June. Its founder and CEO Yves La Rose said that this version is the first community-led version.
