CZ: The voting mechanism works well in the early stages, but in the long run it will tear the community apart and trigger mutual attacks

In a discussion about Binance’s voting mechanism for listing coins in 2017, Binance founder CZ responded, “Voting was good at first. But then it tore the community apart and caused project owners to attack each other. It felt like pvp. It became harder and harder to prevent cheating over time. You have to keep changing the model. You can still do it occasionally.”
