Last year, the company reported revenue of $3.7 billion. OpenAI anticipates continued rapid growth, with revenue projected to more than double again next year, reaching $29.4 billion. Since the launch of ChatGPT over two years ago, OpenAI has introduced a variety of subscription services for both consumers and businesses. In September of last year, OpenAI announced that the paid user base for its business version of ChatGPT had reached one million. Despite the revenue surge, OpenAI faces significant costs associated with developing cutting-edge AI systems, including expenses for chips, data centers, and talent. The insider revealed that OpenAI does not expect to achieve positive cash flow until 2029, by which time revenue is projected to exceed $125 billion.
