Odaily Planet Daily News Cryptocurrency exchange Independent Reserve's latest survey report shows that Singaporeans' awareness of cryptocurrencies has risen to 94%, a record high, but the actual holding rate has dropped from 40% last year to 29%. The survey shows that Bitcoin is still the most popular crypto asset, 68% of cryptocurrency investors hold Bitcoin, and 86% believe it has monetary attributes or investment value.
In addition, 53% of cryptocurrency holders plan to increase their holdings in the next year, and 17% of non-holders express their intention to enter the market. In terms of investment methods, 61% of investors prefer to hold cryptocurrencies directly rather than through exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
