Bitget launches BGUSD, a yield-based asset certificate that supports daily compound interest

Odaily Planet Daily News Bitget officially launched the income-generating asset certificate BGUSD, providing investors with a new choice with liquidity, stability and income. BGUSD's income sources include a diversified real-world asset (RWA) portfolio such as money market funds and tokenized US bonds, and is supported by a number of tokenization service agencies including Superstate. Users can use USDC to redeem BGUSD at a 1:1 ratio, or participate in the subscription through USDT. The income will be directly distributed to the Bitget spot account in the form of BGUSD, realizing daily compound interest. The basic annualized rate of return is 4% APR, and 5% APR can be enjoyed within 30 days of the first launch. In addition, BGUSD can be used in a variety of scenarios such as pledge lending, contract margin, Launchpool and PoolX on the Bitget platform, further improving the flexibility and efficiency of funds.
