Odaily Planet Daily News Meta Platforms (META.O) is working with U.S. defense contractor Anduril Industries (Anduril) to develop new products for the U.S. military, including an artificial intelligence helmet with virtual and augmented reality capabilities. A blog post published by Anduril on Thursday said that the company is working with Meta to "design, build and deploy a range of integrated XR products to provide warfighters with enhanced perception capabilities and the ability to intuitively control autonomous platforms on the battlefield." Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey is also the co-founder of Oculus VR, and he sold the gaming headset company to Meta in 2014.
