Odaily Planet Daily News Chinese travel service provider Webus International announced plans to raise up to $300 million through non-equity financing to establish a strategic reserve of XRP and integrate it into the global car-hailing payment network.
Webus will renew its cooperation agreement with Tongcheng Travel Holdings, a large Chinese online travel platform, to expand the "Wetour x Tongcheng" chartered car service route, and plans to use XRP Ledger to settle cross-border itineraries and driver income.
It is reported that Saudi Arabian company VivoPower International also announced plans to establish a $121 million XRP reserve, indicating that the fourth largest crypto asset by market value is gaining more and more attention from companies.
