Odaily Planet Daily News This morning, after a call with the President of Indonesia, I finalized an important agreement with that country. As part of the agreement, Indonesia pledged to purchase $15 billion worth of U.S. energy products, $4.5 billion in agricultural products, and 50 Boeing passenger aircraft, many of which are 777 models. This is the first time in history that our ranchers, farmers, and fishermen will have full access to the Indonesian market. In addition, Indonesia will pay a 19% tariff on all goods exported to the United States, while U.S. exports to Indonesia will be exempt from all tariffs and non-tariff barriers. If the relevant goods are transshipped from a high-tariff country, the corresponding tariffs of the country of origin will be added to the tariffs paid by Indonesia.
