The Bank of England has proposed that 60% of assets backing stablecoins could be short-term UK government bonds, with at least 40% held by the Bank of England. The Bank of England also proposes a £20,000 cap on stablecoin holdings for individuals and a £10 million cap for businesses. (Jinshi)
