MegaETH announced on the X platform that due to an "unexpected" issue, it will no longer proceed with the $1 billion allocation cap. It will later share some recap content and launch an "exit" function, allowing users to choose to withdraw if they no longer wish to participate. Previously, it was reported that MegaETH's allocation was suspected of being preemptively claimed after the initial expansion, and the total allocation had been revised to $500 million.
