A 3 million yuan cryptocurrency telecom fraud case in Yueqing, Zhejiang Province, has been solved, and all funds have been recovered.

According to the official WeChat account of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Yueqing City Public Security Bureau in Zhejiang Province cracked a case of cryptocurrency telecommunications fraud. The suspect induced the victim to invest 3 million yuan in cryptocurrency, claiming that "the amount is large and requires offline transactions," and instructed the victim to hand over the money to a so-called "acceptor." The suspect even taught the victim how to answer police questions. In reality, the so-called cryptocurrency platform was completely fake, and the account could not be withdrawn at all. It is reported that the 3 million yuan in cash has been recovered, and two suspects have been placed under criminal coercive measures. The case is under further investigation.
