The report highlights AI's increasing prominence among frontier technologies, positioning it as a dominant key technology sector. In contrast, the market share changes for technologies such as the Internet of Things, blockchain, electric vehicles, and solar photovoltaics are expected to be relatively limited. The report also cautions that the rapid advancement of AI is primarily concentrated in a few major economies and large corporations, which could exacerbate development imbalances between countries and companies.
