Solana Ventures is pleased to announce the results of IGNITION , a global hackathon focused on Web3, DeFi, gaming, and digital art/collectible NFTs today. IGNITION is Solana's fourth Hackathon, and the third and final one this year. From August 31st to October 15th, the hackathon brought together cryptocurrency pioneers and developers from around the world to develop projects on the Solana blockchain for what came to be known as "Solana Summer". Project building blocks.
IGNITION's global team culminated in nearly 6,000 participants submitting 568 projects to the judges. Microsoft, Jump Crypto, Standard Chartered Bank, Forte and Metaplex, as the track sponsors of this global hackathon, and Solana Ventures jointly provide participants with a global prize pool and seed round funding of up to US$5 million.

Katana , an asset management protocol focused on developing investment products across the risk spectrum. Katana received a $75,000 overall prize and tickets to Breakpoint, the first annual Solana conference, where they will be presenting their projects.
DeFi track
The first place on the DeFi track is Atrix , an AMM that supports the seamless creation of liquidity pools and mining in Serum, with a prize of $ 65,000 .

Second place: Superposition , a decentralized fixed income protocol.
3rd place: Aver , a decentralized and trust-minimized betting market.
Fourth place: 01 Protocol , a decentralized derivatives protocol that provides perpetual options on the Solana blockchain.
5th place: Fluidity , a system that allows users to use their cryptocurrencies to earn income through Fluid assets.
Web3 track
The first on the Web3 track is Project Citadel , a desktop client for the Solana protocol, which received a $45,000 prize.

Second place: Bulldozer, a low code platform that makes (based on the Anchor development framework) Solana program development easier and simpler.
Third place: Alon , an IDE based on the WebAssembly port of the Solana compiler suite.
Fourth place: Chaincrunch,an analysis platform on the chain.
Fifth place: Dialect , an on-chain messaging protocol and mobile app that supports app-user and user-user communication.

First place on the Gaming track is RushdownRevol , a collectible and metaverse frame, with a $45,000 prize.

Second place : Portals, Solana-based Web Metaverse platform.
Third Place: Eizper Chain, a multiplayer action role-playing game that combines adventure and arena combat.
4th Place: StepN , a move-2-earn mobile game that connects millions of non-crypto runners to crypto.
Fifth place:Titan Analytics,a business analytics platform built for Metaverse.
Digital Art and Collectibles Track
The first place in the digital art and collectibles track was Neftify , an NFT lending platform for play - to-earn, which took home $45,000.

Third place: Cofre , a peer-to-peer NFT custody exchange platform.
Fourth place: Sonanalysis NFT Flex , NFT display and valuation product.

The Community Prize winner is DarleyGo , a blockchain horse racing game incorporating NFT, for $10,000.

Compared with Solana's first hackathon Wormhole , IGNITION's entries increased by 760%. Wormhole was held in November 2020 when only 66 projects were submitted. The performance of the hackathon represents the tremendous growth that the Solana ecosystem has experienced in less than a year.
