Magic tricks: distract attention, create pessimism, drain resources

Take a closer look at Ethereum. The amount of Ethereum on trading platforms is as low as it has been since 2016, a year after Ethereum launched.

Why? Because the same trick is repeating itself: suppress interest, drive down prices, and slowly accumulate when no one is paying attention. Ethereum is being quietly used by hundreds of companies in the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, but public sentiment is being manipulated to make it look like an obsolete technology.
