Deliveroo Singapore is launching its online retail arm today on top of the exciting restaurant food and grocery offering.
This new offering will be called the Deliveroo Shopping, a new online retail arm to bring consumers a world of retail options on-demand.
Deliveroo users can now order a range of retail items, spanning across categories including beauty, personal care, baby care, consumer electronics, florists, health and pharmacy, and pet care.
Additionally, Deliveroo is introducing a new in-app gifting function, which allows users to send gifts with a trackable link and an animated greeting card.
To further provide convenience to shoppers, Deliveroo is leveraging its machine-learning-based search function, allowing them to browse for gifts depending on the occasion.
Deliveroo launched their retail brand in conjunction with their ninth anniversary.
"Delivery services have become an integral part of Singaporeans' daily lives, evolving far beyond just meals and groceries." Deliveroo Singapore general manager Jason Parke said.
He adds that the new Deliveroo Shopping will help to add value to the customers and provide them greater convenience by allowing them to purchase a wider range of everyday needs from their platform.
Customers can find the merchant partners and products under the shopping section of the Deliveroo app. Brands now available on the app include Lush, Petloves Centre, The Body Shop and Ferns and Petals.
