Drake Shows Bitcoin Endorsement, Why?

Canadian rapper Drake recently made waves in the mainstream culture and Bitcoin worlds by sharing a clip from Michael Saylor’s CNBC interview on his Instagram account. The post, originally shared by the account bitcoin_memes_daily, reached Drake's audience of over 146 million followers.

In the caption “Michael Saylor on Bitcoin,” Drake highlighted a segment of Saylor’s interview discussing BTC’s superiority over gold as a store of value and its potential to transform the asset landscape.

One key moment highlighted by Drake was Saylor's response to a question about BTC’s role as a currency, where he stated, “It doesn’t have to be a currency. Nobody is trying to buy a cup of coffee with their fraction of a building on 5th Avenue.”
